The song is part of an ambitious year-long project where Hall released a new EP of stripped-down covers every month to celebrate the artists who inspired her. Key Features of the Performance

: As part of the Obsessed series, the song was recorded as a "stripped-down, emotionally intensive" version meant to highlight the technicality of the lyrics and melody. Context of the "Obsessed: P!nk" EP
: Critics have noted that Hall's version begins with soft acoustic guitar and "magical" vocals, gradually building in intensity with the addition of piano and bass.
: The entire Obsessed series, comprising over 50 songs, was remarkably recorded in just eight consecutive eight-hour days.
: A performance video was released for every song in the series, featuring unique outfits designed by Malan Breton for each EP.
