Use flashcards for more than just single words; have students group them by category (like food or transport) or use them to create simple descriptive sentences. Reading & Writing Skills

Write a long word like "tomato" on the board and ask learners to find smaller words inside it (e.g., "to," "Tom," "mat").

Create lists of words from different categories (e.g., "sports" and "pool" or "fishing" and "boat") and have students draw lines to match them into logical pairs.

Call out actions like "We're riding our bikes!" or "Stop! Now we're roller skating!" to help students physically connect with action verbs and sports vocabulary.
