After the death of their adventurous friend Billy, childhood pals Jerry, Dan, and Tom discover a treasure map in their old treehouse. The map outlines Billy’s lifelong obsession: finding the $200,000 ransom from the 1971 skyjacking of D.B. Cooper. To honor Billy, the trio sets out on a canoe trip down the Columbia River in Oregon, but they are completely unprepared for the wilderness.
