In the midst of the second Chūnin Exams, Sakura Haruno works with Team Asuma (Ino and Chōji) to fight Team Saya from the Hidden Sand. After Ino successfully frees Chōji from a puppet control technique, Sakura reflects on her history of being protected by Naruto and Sasuke. Determined to no longer be a burden, she uses her strength to push toward the main tower, despite being low on chakra.
