Heart hammering, he looked back at the monitor. Even though the video was paused, the figure on the screen kept walking. It reached the "camera lens" and pressed a hand against the glass.
The neon-drenched streets of downtown were always humming, but in 2022, a new kind of ghost haunted the digital architecture. It wasn’t a lady in white or a hooked-handed killer; it was a file that shouldn’t exist.
