Nandor the Relentless sat on a pile of decorative Persian rugs, staring intensely at the lamp. He rubbed it with the sleeve of his velvet cape. With a weary puff of purple smoke, the Djinn appeared, holding a clipboard and wearing his signature vest.
“Marwa!” Nandor cheered, throwing his arms wide. “The war has been over for seven hundred years! Welcome to Staten Island. It is like the afterlife, but with more strip malls.”
