Set ten years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day , the story finds a 25-year-old (Nick Stahl) living off the grid, believing he has prevented the apocalypse. However, Skynet—now manifesting as a global computer virus—sends the T-X (Kristanna Loken), its most advanced and deadly female cyborg yet, back in time to eliminate future resistance officers.
