The film follows (Sobieski) and her younger brother Rhett (Trevor Morgan), who are orphaned after their parents die in a car accident. They are taken in by former neighbors, Terry and Erin Glass (Skarsgård and Lane), and move into their ultra-modern, glass-walled Malibu mansion.
