The Snopowiązałka: The Machine That Revolutionized the Harvest

In 1831, Cyrus McCormick developed the first commercially successful reaper, which could cut as much in one afternoon as 12 people with scythes. Later, inventors added the "binder" mechanism, allowing a single machine to do the work of an entire crew.
