"Happy Anniversary" is the thirteenth episode of the second season of the American supernatural drama television series Angel [1]. Written by David Greenwalt and Joss Whedon, and directed by Bill L. Norton, it originally aired on February 13, 2001, on The WB [1].

In the episode, Angel seeks help from Lorne to find a physicist whose research into freezing time could inadvertently cause the end of the world [1]. Lorne identifies the scientist as Gene Rainey, a man so deeply in love with his girlfriend, Denise, that he wants to make their "perfect moment" last forever [2].
