I couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight. I mean, who hasn't gotten sucked into a good manga or novel, right? I reassured him that it was no big deal and that I wouldn't tell anyone (though I'm basically telling everyone now).

The reason he looked so serious (or should I say, guilty?) was that his phone had an auto-refresh feature that updated his reading app during his break, and apparently, he got caught up in the storyline. He ended up reading the whole chapter without realizing how much time had passed. He was worried that I might think he was slacking off during work hours.

The funny part was, for the rest of the shift, Tanaka-san was super cautious about his phone, constantly looking over his shoulder as if afraid someone would catch him reading manga again. It was quite amusing, and I have to admit, it made my day a bit brighter. [Pulp-Hekushon]_Kyou,_Tenchou_ni_Netoraremashit...

Work can be mundane at times, but moments like these remind me that even in the most unexpected places, you can find humor and friendship. And, of course, it's a good reminder to take breaks and enjoy the little things, like a good manga.

During my afternoon shift, the store manager, Tanaka-san, came up to me with this really serious look on his face. I was restocking the shelves, and I thought I was in trouble for not finishing my tasks on time or something. But nope, it was completely unexpected.

So, for those who might not know, I've been working part-time at this konbini for about six months now. It's been a great experience, allowing me to interact with a variety of customers and learn a lot about teamwork and time management. However, today was something else.
