Nfpa: 5000

NFPA 5000 is the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standard that provides minimum regulations for the design and construction of buildings and structures to safeguard life, health, property, and public welfare.

NFPA 5000 regulates the permitting, design, construction, quality of materials, and occupancy of both new and existing buildings. Its primary goal is to minimize the risk of fire , explosion, and natural calamities. It is designed to be used in conjunction with other NFPA codes, such as NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code) .
