The story follows (Kovai Sarala), an elderly tribal woman living in the Kodaikanal mountains with her 10-year-old granddaughter, Sembi (Nila). Their peaceful life is shattered when Sembi is brutally assaulted by three men with powerful political ties. Enraged and determined, Veerathayi takes extreme steps to seek justice, eventually boarding a bus named " Anbu " (Love).
