(賢者の孫), translated as Wise Man's Grandchild , is a Japanese fantasy series written by Tsuyoshi Yoshioka . It follows a young salaryman who dies in an accident and is reborn into a world of magic as Shin Wolford . Raised by the legendary hero "Sage" Merlin Wolford, Shin becomes incredibly powerful but lacks basic common sense, leading him to enroll in a Magic Academy to learn about the world.
