Frankie Lah-Ru grew up in a creative family in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. Her parents were hippies who encouraged her to express herself through art and music. As a teenager, Frankie was part of a local punk band, playing the bass guitar and performing at DIY shows in abandoned warehouses and small clubs.
