In the video, a second pair of eyes appeared. Then a third. They were slowly moving forward, emerging from the darkness of the digital room. Elias realized with a jolt of ice in his chest that the eyes weren't looking at the camera. They were looking at him .
On the screen, the first pair of eyes reached the "glass" of the monitor. A thin, grey finger pressed against the inside of his screen, leaving a smudge of digital noise. The Shutdown
The room’s lights flickered and died. Elias sat in total darkness, the only light coming from the monitor.
