The story of DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods follows the Doom Slayer as he attempts to end the demonic threat for good by resurrecting and killing the Dark Lord, the true creator of all things. After defeating Davoth and causing all demons outside of Hell to vanish, the Slayer falls unconscious and is sealed away, finally ending his long war.
