Herbert crafted a midtempo, "electronic accordion flânerie" designed to evoke the soul of Paris. He even went to the actual Café de Flore on Boulevard Saint-Germain to capture live field recordings—you can hear the authentic sounds of the cafe's interior, and at the end of the original track, Herbert and his partner Dani Siciliano can be heard ordering their meal in French.
